Discomfort in the body is natural, but ignoring it and carrying on with life is unnatural.
How many of us carry on with life despite our aches, pains and other discomforts?
Some of us have said this to self before:
“I am ageing, body pains are bound to be there”,
“I have so much to accomplish, will pop in a pill and manage”
“Miles to go before I sleep”,
“I have a head and so it will ache, so what!”
“I don’t know why my knee has started hurting, it wasn’t like this before”
“If I go for a check-up, the doctor will tell me many things about my body, let me self-cure”
One of the common patterns human beings engage in is to neglect the Body until it demands our attention in such a strong way that one can’t ignore it anymore. “Miles to go before I sleep” when turned into an excuse can be dangerous.
Why reach there when there are ways to listen to the body, have a dialogue with it and understand what it wants us to do?
“Dialogue with the Body” workshop is a safe space where we engage in the practice of
– Silencing yourself
– Listening to the sensations experienced in the body
– Decode the message for further action
This process is magical, it has brought immense benefits each time one engages in this experience
